I had a millipede crawl into my ear once and run around in circles there...So I have a fairly good idea of the pain you are talking about. It put me on the floor until that thing found its way back out. (Thankfully it did not damage me permanently) The only thing more painful in my experience is intestinal trauma.

I thought I had a cold and was dizzy from it, turns out I had a bad sinus/ear infection. Too much infected matter, and the ear drum broke :/

BUT AT LEAST IT WASN'T A MILLIPEDE AHHHHHH!

LOL...So that is what everyone is freaking out about...Yeah that was a bit on the grose side...but I am fairly unbothered by millipedes...House Centipedes on the other hand freak me right out. I have no idea HOW it crawled into my inner ear passage...Must have done it while I slept because it was in the morning that it happened. At first I thought it was water deep in my ear because it moved around but then I realized it was moving without me moving any which did not make sense but the pain was so nasty I really did not have sense to think of what to do. Finally it just crawled out and fell to the ground near me and I was mostly like \"Thank GOD that is over...\" and then \"...that is pretty freaky...\". So yeah, I sleep with my ears covered now, no matter what, do not want that again.

So can you still hear from that side or did it deafen your ear?

yes it did but only a flash of pain i had an estchuan tube infection that had progressed to the inner ear to keep it from bursting and taking much longer to heal he lanced it etting the ICK on himself

they gave me antibiotic ear drops mixed with an anisetetheic had to use them for several months

Lordy.. it seems that a lot of other artists have been hitting catastrophic snags in the development schedules of their arts and submissions. Of course, yours takes the cake in terms of blinding pain induced by ear trauma.
