Yeah there is certainly lots of canon fodder for something like that..it's just a matter of how much you want the fandom to hate you! I think I would create an alias to do that from and make sure no one ever connects that back to you!!!

bwah im good at laughing at the fandom dude. so much material for jokes. the furry fandom is filled with weirdos, antisocial basement dwellers and socially awkward nerds. Im a furry, but im none of those, and if i was, i think id be intelligent enough to accept it and be poked about it!
But to clarify, im not perfect. i hate pretty much everybody until proven wrong, im a kinky son of a bitch who loves being an asshole on purpose. BUT i have some qualities. we cant be perfect and pretending we are is the worst thing to do.

Very true. I actually enjoy all the "freaks" of the fandom, being one myself. :D I've hung out with the "cool" kids too and it's fun but gets boring after awhile. There's only so much video game and beer talk I can take!

The thing is not about offending people, it's about not caring if you offend them.
Look at "2, the Ranting Gryphon" do you think he cares if he offends anybody?
I think the reason why he doesn't offend people is that he freely admits he's part of the demographic he's making fun of. Except for PETA because, well, PETA sucks.
If you're wondering who "2, the Ranting Gryphon" is, I'll be happy to tell you.

Oh I know 2 personally. He apparently likes my crappy art. ^.^ But yeah I remember his rants from way back. They were always entertaining and honest, which of course is what people flipped out about. :D

And today he's extremely famous and does stand-up at cons.
I think the main thing is to be funny and not care about whether you're offensive.
Or, I suppose you could strive to be offensive, like South Park. I have no idea why that show is as popular as it is.

I dunno if you can use the phrase 'extremely famous' of any furry though. Hehe. And I like South Park myself though not seen it in years. They had some cool social commentary on pretty serious subjects. Abortion, right-to-die, religion, etc. They're not afraid to tackle that stuff.

Well, as famous as any furry can be, I suppose.
I've yet to meet one who has never heard of this guy.
