I was able to see quite a few episodes on youtube of season two, but in japanese with subtitles. The japanese variant is quite different from the american, so here's a list of pros and cons.

Japanese American

J has better music than A
J has better voices (though a lot don't fit them) than A
A has english
J has every episode to see on youtube
J has better dialougue

So Japanese wins out
