Buyers:
Stop adopting characters that you aren't going to use for a single fucking thing. It frustrates people who actually wanted to do something substantial with said character but didn't have the money, it condemns a perfectly good character design to an eternity of sitting around collecting dust, it disappoints sellers, and perhaps most importantly, it wastes your money. If only for your sake, please actually use your adopted characters for something or else just stop adopting them entirely. Use them for horrible fetish porn, for Christ's sake. I don't give a shit.
Sellers:
Stop implementing bullshit policies that treat the buyer like they are a five-year-old child and you are their parent. Closed species are a horrible idea. In addition, selling a character to somebody only to tell them that they aren't allowed to modify the character in certain ways is both rude and stupid. They are buying your character with their own money, thereby making it their property. People are allowed to do whatever the fuck they want with their property, provided it isn't illegal. Once I buy a shirt, I'm legally entitled to do whatever I want with it, whether I sew some buttons on it, dye it a different color, or wipe my ass with it. Likewise, once I am in possession of your desudesu lolita waif catgirl, it is my right to turn her into a muscley bulldyke lesbian if I see fit. If you don't like that idea, then don't sell the character.
