our car tags were expired and I just notice.
I went to the DMV like a good citizen to buy new ones.. and they charged me a 100 dollar late fine.. on top of the normal price of tabs. so ended up spending like 140 bucks today.
I was going to go grocery shopping but now I am stuck eating the left over junk in the fridge/freezer.
Looks like hot dogs for a while.
100 dollars? WHY! Why do they need that? What did it really cost them. That interest is phenomenal! Not even credit cards are that high!
Probably because the US gov is going broke, in ridiculous amounts of debt and looking to tax it's peasantry as hard as it can get away with. D:<
I think there trying to make up for the permanent license plates trailers have.
Like those on those simi trucks, those do not need tags just the plate that says permanent.
We have been trying to work hard and get by and we just get money taken away left and right.
I had my pell grants taken away today too because of some obama law from december.

It really does seem pointless, almost like they are treating you like a child in a sense which is ridiculous... Glad it's settled, but ugh...
