Alexei remembered
General
On July 17, 1918 a brilliant young light was snuffed out leaving the world a little darker.
Just shy of his fourteenth birthday the youngest member of the exiled royal Russian family was murdered in the name of so called 'Justice'.
In the middle of the night young Alexei Romanov was taken into the cellar of the Ipatiev House in Yekaterinburg with the rest of his family.
There young Alexei was forced to set and watch a band of murderers shoot and kill his father the Tsarina and two of his servants. Then the cowardly killers turned on Alexei himself.
After shooting him several times with out killing him, the murderers started stabbing him with the bayonet on the end of their guns. But still the little Alexei clung onto life.
Only to have the leader of the murderous thugs Yakov Yurovsky point his gun at poor Alexei's head and fired two times snuffing out his young light.
Though his light can not be reignited I ask you my readers to join with me in lighting a white candle today, in symbolic remembrance to the light that lived in his heart.
