I downloaded amnesia: the dark descent. i have never been this scared in a horror game in my life! the developers did a really good job of immersing the player in the gameplay. i would get so freaked out in some stages that i was gasping at silly things, like the wind gently blowing some book pages about the room. and when the 'servant grunts' started to appear... dear god. i had nightmares. i literally hid in a room for 20 minutes when one punched down the door. i finally came out of hiding to find he had de-spawned only a few seconds after thinking i wasnt in the room. i still freak out when one spawns near me and i hear the growl sound effect. even now i keep looking over my shoulder whenever i hear an odd noise in my house, lol.
