So, for Easter dinner I made corned beef and cabbage for the first time in my life. Always been a fan of the dish, but never tried to make it before today.

It came out...

...reasonably well, especially considering every recipe I looked up for it was full of crap and lies. Overcooked the carrots and potatoes a bit, (the recipe I was following wanted me to cook them for another 20 minutes!) and could have added a bit more pepper, but all in all it was fabulous.

I now have a nice warm and fuzzy post-cow devouring afterglow, and shall sit in front of my computer and blow sh*t up in Star Trek Online...

...and probably fart like the god of flatulence himself. Damn cabbage. >_>
