I don't really understand why it's suppose to be $6 you don't say dollar six.... you say six dollars.
We don't say the dollar sign first.
We say it 6$
Whatever though, not like it's going to change. lol.
if we were truly pronouncing the dollar sign... we would say "dollar sign"
For the purpose of shortening.
It still is the indication of the word dollar though.
Just my opinion on the matter.
