in case anyone was wondering or cares, the mouth on my avatar belongs to this creature right here:

i simply uploaded this monstrosity to MS Paint, cut off the mouth and converted that mouth to .GIF format.
"But hey, Jack, why the mouth of all things? do you have some kinda mouth fetish or something?"
well, i'm so glad you asked that, my previous sentence. ya see, despite what is being displayed, i do not, in fact, have a mouth fetish. i personally think that mouths are gross, ugly, grotesque, repulsive, and totally ignorant of the things they put near or inside themselves.
no i just chose it as a tribute to one of my favorite animators, Jan Svankmajer. that guy just loooves mouths. seriously, he loves mouths and he loves mouths eating things. go look at almost any of his films, and you are guaranteed to see at least one extreme close-up of a mouth. either speaking or eating something, you WILL see a mouth. for absolutely no reason at all. one minute, you'll be seeing paintings of fish anatomy, next minute, a mouth eats a piece of steak. he even does extreme closeups of puppet mouths. for absolutely no reason at all. every one of his films, mouths, mouths, mouths, and more mouths.
oh, and some furrys here may also have mouth fetishes. when it comes to fetishes of parts of the face, i'm more of an eye person myself.
so that's the story of my avatar. fantastic, isn't it?
