Incompetence
So get this,
I saw a sweet piece of commission, so like any other fur I wanted to complement the work that was commissioned so I used a piece of slang terminology "hot" to indicate how well done or attractive the work was.
Immediately, after telling the individual this, their "Significant Other" messaged me, telling me that it's creepy to be hitting on her, and that she already has a mate. Um, what the fuck?
I then attempt to clarify with the "Significant Other" indicating that it was only meant to indicate how attractive and well done the art was, and I was not, under any circumstances applying this gesture or indication towards the person; only her Character.
The information returned to me was that this action was "typical," "creepy," "rude," and that "[you] have no social skills," not to mention "weird."
I would like an evaluation to see from my peers how they would have handled themselves in this situation if it happened to you, and a determination to see who was at "fault?"
Was I out of line, or were they out of line, or was it a compendium of both of us being out of line?
Thanks so much for your consideration,
your faithful friend ANOVA The Coyote :)
Here is the "Protected" Conversation:
Me;
The Huskie Commission makes your char look mad hot :)
Them;
Dude, if you paid attention to Indi's profile you would know that she's taken. So sending that ridiculously typical "I have no social skills because i'm a typical furry" comment is kinda rude.
Thanks.
Me;
I wasn't hitting on her, I was just telling her that I thought her commission was attractive.
Them;
That's sill rude as all hell, not even getting into how weird it is.
