If you have not seen the post on our forums, nearly three weeks ago we lost a member of the NEOfurs, Sabrina Ann Louise Shaw, known better to most of us as Aheria.

If you knew her and this is the first time you are hearing about her passing, I sincerely apologize. FurAffinity was hosting many terrible rumors and the mods and myself felt it best to post only on the forums until things calmed down.

Aheria was 25 years old. She was a fantastic painter and photographer, and she loved the fandom. She had a kind heart and was always ready to give where giving was needed.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on September 24th from 9am to noon at Lakewood Park Woman's Pavilion, 14532 Lake Avenue, Lakewood OH, 44107. All are welcome to attend however, formal attire is requested as this is a formal event. Please leave furry attire at home. At the time of the ceremony, the mayor of Lakewood will be dedicating a tree in her honor. If you would like to make a donation to help pay for the tree and dedication, please contact  Kashikaoi
