Sorry for the cursing, anyone who cares. I hardly ever do that seriously, but I...ugh, I figure this is a pretty good occasion.
For private reasons that I would rather not discuss because it is betweenKatherine and her family, she has lost their financial support for now. This was going to be fine, because her parents have to pay her portion of the rent for our apartment anyway, and I get weekly money from my parents that was going to go towards our food. Plus, she's put in a few job applications already, so we thought we'd be able to make ends meet by either getting a job, being more thrifty, or possibly both.
...Until we got the electric bill.
We paid off a big bill a coupe of months ago, and we cut back on electricity usage (and our apartment complex got new energy-efficient appliances) recently. Future bills shouldn't be much of a problem. However, this bill dates from between our last bill and when we started to be more thrifty with energy. Specifically, it's for $100, which I am aware is not that much. It's just $100 I don't have.
So I'm going to open commissions.
I was basically closed for them, because I've been too stressed over the past year to want to worry about that, and no one was really interested anyway. However, I've gotten a slew of new watchers lately, and I figure that circumstances have pushed me to this, as art is...the only marketable skill I have.
And honestly? Money is kind of tight, so even if we can pay off this bill somehow, I...really wouldn't mind taking on some commissions, at least during the next couple of months.
If you would be so kind as to spread the word (I LOVE YOU <3) please wait until tomorrow, when an examples sheet and a commission journal will be up.

Edit: Reading back over this and thinking again, I feel the need to say this: I actually have a couple of avatar commissions to do currently. However, those are small, and once I just sit down and do them, they won't be that big. Just, if you are one of those people, please don't worry that I'm going to forget you.
