I have never been able to keep Memorial Day and Labor Day straight. So today, I wrote a little poem that I want to share with you.
Memorial dAY comes in M-A-Y MAY,
and that ought to help you remember
that Labor Day is the holiday
which comes in the month of September.

All I know is that the holiday that comes in MAY is the one that has the NASCAR 600 miler, and usually means I fall asleep halfway through, or have to get up the following morning. Lesson learned: book that Monday as a day off if one is working.
