I AM FUCKING DONE WITH THIS SHIT.

Read this in an angry, pissed off, crying voice, because that's how it's supposed to fucking sound.
I'm done with this stupid ass computer and trying to do these commissions!
I cannot stand this shit!
I was done with my fucking commission DONE WITH IT! I was adding literally the LAST fucking brush stroke
And GIMP just fucking deletes the fucking picture. I saved it a billion times knowing this would happen, but obviously it doesn't give a shit because it deleted THE ENTIRE FUCKING IMAGE.
Screw it.
Everyone who has paid me.
Please send me your paypal information, because I've giving all of your money back. Fuck this thing. I'm done.

It is terrible to say, because your digitals are beautiful.
What's happening is that it goes back to the first time I saved it. Even if I save it after every brush stroke, it still goes back to the first time.
I'm tired of looking at the picture, I'm tired of having to restart, I'm tired of having to deal with this.
But I totally get why you're upset. Completely.
If you ever do continue, you should look into using a different program~ Because that shit is messed up.
Fuck gimp though, even if it's crashing it shouldn't be reverting to earlier saves. Get yourself a better computer (desktop- you can get a decent one for $300 and a top of the line gaming rig for $900) and use SAI or photoshop CS3 or 4 (not 5, it has issues with crashing and doesn't really have any better features than 4).
Seriously, people don't realize how inexpensive a good desktop is because laptops are so popular. You're looking at 1/2 to 1/4 of the cost, and if you need it for commissions, it will probably pay for itself pretty quickly.
Of course if you just decide to go back to traditional that's your choice, and I wouldn't blame you. I mostly use paper and pencil too, which is why there's next to nothing in my gallery. I just want to help you out if you want to keep trying with computers, I'm pretty good with them.
As for the memory usage, I'm using an external hard drive. I have nothing at all saved on my computer except for my desktop background. XD So I can only imagine that GIMP and my computer combined just can't handle the immense size of the picture.
Blahhh.
i've yet to see an artist that was good in photoshop that wasn't even better traditional
