It's hard finding other writers to help with a project. They need to have the same interest you do, they need to be willing to contact you regularly with questions and drafts, and they need to be invested in getting the job done. That's actually harder than it looks. Even with the offer of a paycheque, I have discovered that most writers don't seem to be as invested in these projects as I am - meaning that even if I assign something, it can be months or more before I get any information in return.

Disappointing, really -- you would think that the chance of making $100 or more would be worthwhile.
