I have been wondering about having a contest. The contest would have the participants drawing in any media they were comfortable with, and coming up with a design of sorts of what foals would look like with a mother equine, me, and the father being a dragon, my mate. I'd offer I cash prize to 1st 2nd and 3rd place.

Now to my question. Would anyone actually consider entering the contest? With the amount of money that would be the prizes I'd want previous commintment to the contest before it actually started. If I didn't have at least 6 or 7 participants involved in the contest I'd cancel it. Is that too harsh? I would not ask anyone to actually start drawing until the starting date of the contest. I'd be giving participants 2 weeks to let me know if they wanted to enter and then, providing I had enough people interested in the contest, I'd give them 2 months to complete the picture and have it turned in.

So what do you think?
