Got a tooth yanked. It was abscessed, and an examination determined it was likely cracked in a way that a root canal wouldn't fix. As abscesses simply don't heal and can possibly become life-threatening, I opted for extraction. So now I'm sitting here down a molar, waiting for this hole in my mouth to heal up so I can get a replacement later. Most likely a partial, as there is no way I can afford an implant. And where I don't have any kind of insurance, all of this is coming out of pocket. I've already missed a few days of work due to recovery, and I've been on a steady diet of yogurt and masked potatoes.

So... yeah. That's what I've been up to this week.
