Boy was it good or what? Rotten Tomatoes rated it lower than the last movie because of course they do. The audience score is obviously gonna be better.
In short, Bowser Jr kidnaps Rosalina to power up a universe destroying cannon on top of an artificial planet, Little Mac cameos as a background character which I didn't notice first hand, Fox McCloud has a bigger role than I anticipated as he helps Mario and the gang rescue Rosalina, it turns out Peach and Rosalina are sisters with cosmic powers, Bowser becomes Dry Bowser, Luigi creates Mr. Game and Watch accidentally, and Princess Daisy confirmed.
