Why are your commissions so long?

Hello!
I wanted to write a quick update to stay in touch and keep you informed.
First of all, I truly appreciate and care about all of you, and I’m very grateful for your patience. I always try to treat you with warmth, and I genuinely enjoy talking with many of you
However, I am here to say more than just that.
That said, I also want to be honest - I’m not happy with how long my commissions have been taking. There are a lot of reasons behind it, and unfortunately they tend to stack on top of each other. I’ve been dealing with depression for a long time, and recently I also lost my job, along with other things that have been affecting my stability. I’m not sharing this to ask for sympathy - I just want to be transparent that some of these challenges are outside of my control, and I’m not trying to mislead anyone or take advantage of the situation.
As for what’s next - I’m actively working on getting back on track, both personally and professionally. I haven’t been opening full commissions for a while and have only been taking small speedarts to keep some income flowing and I'm still in the active rendering process, and I'm moving it a little every day. I’m also taking my health much more seriously this year, and I’ve started working with a therapist, which is helping me gradually get back on my feet.
Thank you again for staying with me and for your understanding - it really means a lot
