For the two people that will read this:
I've seen people ranking their beloved waifus/husbandos and favorite fast food joints in the past. That got me thinking about how I'd rank my own OCs. I don't mean in terms of popularity, or how much I like or dislike them (although that would be a great one - ranking OCs based on how fun they'd be to hang out with). This one's just a fun little measure of ability. Nothing serious.
My infallible* criteria and a few peeps I think might fit each:
S - Godlike beings, real-deal deities. They'd need their own tier list to better compare their capabilities. (Xatubei, Kuzen & Yajj, Traes, Kanuri)
A - Ridiculously powerful. Absurd abilities and overwhelming scale. All they need to ascend to S tier is a nudge in the right direction. (Vivian, Grace, Cait)
B - Big. They're big. They can get bigger. Bigger is always better, but big is all they can do. (Edith, Elliott, Noora)
C - Limited. There's potential, but it hits an early plateau. (Ruby, Paine, Gina)
D - Devices. They require gizmos, arcane doodads, or some other external resource to do what they do best. (Maxine, Lucas)
E - “Ordinary” folks or de-powered individuals. He just like me fr. (Jenna, Cora)

What counts as ridiculously powerful? What keeps an A from rising to S? Why no smol? Vibes and self-awareness, I’d guess. :v It’s all rather fluid! For instance, Grace’s is an easy A but I’d personally rank him as C as he is now. He’s capable of so much more, but he’s a complete dumbass who’s ignorant of his potential and wastes his immense power on petty vengeance and fleeting amusements.

If you write or are an artist, how do power (dis)parities factor into your work? Or if you get artwork, would the dynamics between characters affect how the piece would look? Most importantly, how would you rank your OCs based on how fun they’d be to hang out with?

Overall? Still low, for the above reasons. She'd be down there with Traes (who is also relatively new to this god thing) if not for the fact that he can do everything his parents, Kuzen and Yajj, can do, along with growing stronger with each death like they can.
That being said she's got two massive advantages 8) and is rapidly accumulating worship!
It's more about pushing other gods out so mortals worship you instead.
For example, there are multiple fertility gods, and they've all got niches established. Some bless the land with fertile crops. Others are maternal, and revolve around women and childbirth. Others still revolve around phallic virility, and so on. Each is worshiped on special occasions. One is evoked for a specific reason or another. Propitiation is necessary when they're angry.
But why worship them when you could be worshiping the big titty bird goddess you've seen everyone flocking to? She gives her blessings freely. You and yours should get in on that. Sooner or later, people will worship her instead. Doubly so when the crops and harvests are bigger than ever. Those niches gradually get associated with her over time, rather than the bereft gods that once had them. Now everyone will worship and give her sacrifices for fertile crops, even though she has nothing to do with farming. In the eyes of mortals, it's her domain now.
