This month has been particularly bittersweet for me. Today would have marked the 30th anniversary for me and my late partner (passed in April 2024). I placed a card next to his urn, and been thinking about him constantly today. I miss him so much...

On the flip side, Sunday (the 22nd) marks my 56th birthday. While I will be celebrating it with my housemate as I did last year, my Alpha will also be visiting as of this Friday and will be here for a week so he can celebrate my birthday with me. Having him here means so much, and I love him so very much; it will help me make it through the day.

I had thought of trying to acquire some birthday commissions, but didn't have time to line anything up, so it's how it goes, but the important thing is I'll have those I love around me for that special day.

So to Dennis and Alpha Toyo: I love you both more than words can describe. Thank you for being in my life and continuing to be in my life.
