Figured I'd keep folks updated on how things have been going for my mom, and just for me in general. My mom's back surgery went really really well. She's taking a lot of naps, is already up and walking (and has been since day two of post-op), and is otherwise on the road to recovery. I've been doing my best to take care of her, and I am also thankful I have been having the support of my grandmother- and of my younger sister who is visiting this week since her college is on spring break right now.

In addition, I myself have been doing alright. Def been VERY tired myself, but I'm very proud of how well I've been handling things, and proud of the progress my mom is making with her recovery already. In addition, I've been trying to work on some art in the meantime as well. I finally finished Wolfie's 2.0, so expect some finished photos of her soon enough, and I am making a lot of headway on a children's book commission I've been asked to work on... as well as getting prepped for the release of Candy Cadavers! SO exciting!!! We already have photos of the next prototype being completed too, so I am super looking forward to sharing them with the Backerkit soon!

I am also planning for the first con of the year too! I'm not going to be able to make Fur The More this month, but in about a little less than a month from now, if mom continues to progress as well as she has been, I'll be able to make RUFF in Richmond! This'll be my first time at this con, so I am looking forward to checking it out. It's also a free admission and a one day con too, so that's also a bonus. Plus I'm really happy with a lot of the artists they've picked for their artist's alley/dealer's den too! AND I'll have a LOT of my work friends who I've converted into furries coming with me too, which will be a major plus.
