I don't mind the mix of SFW and NSFW. Most artists post both, really. If you made an alt. account to split 'em, I'd follow both, and I do understand the desire for broader explosure. But trying to manage and post to multiple accounts does make for a lot more to juggle. Especially if you do things like take commissions on both.

Yeah, I just see a lot of artist have seperate and I just didn't know if there was merit to doing it that way. FA has a decent filter system as far as flagging things as NSFW or SFW and keeping the NSFW off the front screen.
But I just wasn't sure if there was like a "Social" aspect of it. Like a consideration of the line between nsfw and sfw.

I could be wrong here since my own experience on FA is limited, but the site seems to be mostly used by NSFW artists. There are SFW artists and people who just like SFW art for sure, but I'd probably only make a separate acc for it if I wanted a break from the hornyposts. I don't mind if artists post both SFW and NSFW on main, because I just like looking at their styles/characters. I've never found a profile that looked truly "messy" or "unappealing" other than my own, and that's just the artist self criticism we all get cursed with lol.
If you're after exposure/following I've heard a lot of users mention that they use other sites (e621, Twitter, BlueSky) to find artists and then follow them here, but that's a whole other can of worms. The search traffic on FA is kind of abysmal, don't blame your art for that.

Anyway long comment,,, but yeah I don't think making a separate acc is totally necessary unless you want to. After all it's up to you at the end of the day, and I totally get wanting to make your work more appealing for exposure, but don't exhaust yourself! Your art is worth more than numbers and views. And your style/designs are peak btw, you've earned the right to love your own work!

Yeah, I’m starting to lean away from making and you’re probably right considering FA’s traffic being small.
I love Bluesky atm but I know that will inevitably get bleak. But we’ll see.
