Should I leave “thank you” shouts when I get watched?

My socially dysfunctional ass can’t tell if it’s a good thing to do or if it’s mostly annoying and unnecessary
Based on what I've seen from the profiles I've navigated to, people seem to prefer not getting them on average. As long as you don't leave them on profiles which specifically say not to in their info or shouts area, it should be fine though.

Hmm yeah, that sounds fair. I got a little confused because navigating here it does give the impression that most people do not like them, even if they don't explicitly say that they don't want them. But I also went to the Discord server and other related-places and they actually seem to think that not only it's desirable, but it may actually even be rude not to leave them. Quite confusing tbh
