Geez, politics for me is something I like to be open about what I have read up on with people I know if they ask, all while hearing the other side out. I try to learn the facts of the story first before going all confident about something myself (which I had a work colleague who was a joy to talk to about this stuff since he gave me information that I didn’t have prior to connect dots of relevancy, was a very informative guy). I have to say in personal experience biden’s economy was bad where I live, could have been worse, but it would be interesting to hear from you or others how it was better elsewhere. So hearing someone belittle or say unhinged shit, that to me is way too far across the road of conversation to be remotely civil. If this is a stance on the matter that seems unfavorable for someone, I don’t get how. I like to be as informed about something without any skewed biases to the information available. (Which noting todays media climate, very hard to do now.) So I hope whoever did that leaves you alone now, and stops with the harassment. You don’t deserve that kind of treatment because of politics. I'm very willing to hear the other side out if the other side actually has arguments. The constant and eternal parroting of propaganda points from republican media or the constant parroting of claims by the admin no matter what evidence there is to the contrary is why I've deemed maga as unworthy of ever having consideration. You can't argue or debate them, they keep moving the goalposts until you give up and they declare victory or until they start screaming at you and calling you shit like 'libtard' or 'commie'.

On the Economy I want to point out: The grand economy was actually incredibly good. Stocks were going up, expansion was being driven in basically every sector. In every level that matters for economic growth indicators it was good. The problem was down at OUR level, the level NOT influenced by politics but rather by corporate greed. THAT level was shit and it was made so because corporations were profiteering yet again. Unlike what most people think, prices at the register are not as impacted by country wide policy decisions. Even the idiotic tarrifs didn't HAVE to impact costs at walmart they just did because walmart like all major companies are greedy scum who want to maximize profits at any cost and had an easy excuse to raise prices while once again conveniently ignoring when they no longer have to.
