I'm still a little sad about the death of my rabbit. I've sort of gotten over it, but it still makes me sad to think about how he died and all those surgeries he had only to end up dead. It's very likely I won't have another pet; there's not much space at home, and besides, every time a pet passes away, it takes a part of you with it...
