trying to move (aggressively urgent and shitty)

General
so i have no help. i'm also barely getting sleep, and i'm a one-human caregiver for my ma who had heart surgery about 6 weeks back
she has people who can fuckin help her, but she burned bridges and made so many barriers between my grandpa's chemotherapy and now
i'm currently working VERY hard to up and fucking LEAVE, basically run away to my friend's place--problem is he lives in New York, I'm in Louisiana, and I'm deathly afraid of getting things started and then my flight gets cancelled or something cos then i'd be shit out of luck cos it will have already been too late to return home
i have my pomeranian Zeke, who is my fucking life, so i cannot part with him
been going through the motions of setting this up but it's a lot and i just want someone to come kidnap me so i can get my bearings, i can't handle this full time care and she's only gotten worse
i don't want this, and i've been sick and everyone i know says "no"
i don't want to kill myself this time, i just need to bite the metaphorical bullet and take a chance but, yeah, it's a lot

It's important to make sure you have all your documents in order and in your own possession. Birth certificate, etcetera, in a place where only you know or have access. Make sure no one else has access to your bank account or records.
Do not allow them to guilt you, don't allow the voice in your head, the bad programming, to tell you that you deserve this or it's your fault or you need to stay. You don't. You've done more than enough. You never asked for this; to be born, to be part of this world, to do all the things you've done. Just take it one step at a time and don't let it overwhelm you.
Take care of yourself and do what you need to, for you. Once things start moving, it gets easier. Working to trust people and accept help and feel like a burden is terrifying and difficult, but it's important to, and I'm glad you've got people looking out for you; go against your every instinct and let them.
Again, anything I can do, always happy to.
Like I said, we're here for you
and the obvious concerns of trusting each other as we're both strangers to one another
i'd honestly take it but that's too much of me to ask for?

You can do this. It'll be done and done before you know it
I believe you can do it
Problem is, from the viewpoint of someone who lives along the same latitude as NYC, Louisiana is hella comfy this time of year compared to up here. It rarely if ever snows in Louisiana, while New York sees a LOT of snow in the West of the State. NYC doesn't get as much snow, but it'll still amount to a couple feet overall. Biggest issue is home expensive NYC is.
At least you'll be bringing a whole lotta knowledge about hurricanes with you: NYC and Joisey could use it!
Let that determination drive you to get yourself somewhere safe. We all believe in ya here.

not sure how much stuff you have to move
I've be happy to help get you away from your shit family.
Honestly, it might be more worth it to rent a car and drive the distance, or take the truck if that works. Bring more stuff and don't start with so little. When I made my big move, I left with everything I could cram into a car XD
looking through the comments, it looks like you've got plenty of help being offered to you, so i hope you're able to make it to new york.
please, don't turn back.
kicking an ant hill yknow
much love, hopefully it's over soon
You've got this!
Thanks tho, I'm glad--I reallllly hope I can keep making content as soon as I can.
