Less commissions nowadays ?

Hey Guys and Gals,
What I found out lately is, a huge number of artists increased their prices to cope with a living. Since they still have people buying it's quite nice for them. As well as that I'd think in a world like today, they need extra pennies too. What I found out for myself, that artists have gotten as expensive as car parts ? Not even parts but some have gotten as expensive as buying cars! Very few of artists still reach only the level of amounts that per picture a new car could be sold off, but the majority I'd say looking at my monthly rate to payback my debt FOR my car. I'd say they come close to those numbers.
For example one of the artists I got even a few pictures off of, now has doubled prices which made me rather look elsewhere for new arts, due to the fact that I can't afford slots anymore or are simply not interested because in my eyes they've gotten too expensive for me to cope with. lets say if you've a starting slot for 150$ Thats almost 2 full fuel tanks of my car nowadays. (Which can bring me up to 2k km in range!), it also would be a entire tire if not even a set of two depending on quality.
If I'd go down onto food pricing, a whopping 150$ would bring me currently over almost A MONTH worth of meals in my strict diet during work hours. (Might be a little unfair to say, I work FOR the military not in, so I get meals at base during work hours, meaning one meal per day, with aroundish 7$ times 16 means 112$ so 38$ remaining for the rest)
What I can say in the matter of art, it has gotten so expensive for me that, ultimately, I'd rather not spend huge amounts of money anymore on art that only contains smut and just dusts in my Gallery.
I'll look for small rising talents rather than spending big money on famous artists unless I commission things that specifically will be exposed and will be only SFW.
Artists also contain a lot of subscription content nowadays and are either behind paywalls entirely by now or push on early access in a way that watching makes them unattractive over all. Mostly those artists are also either unable to be commissioned or again, that expensive that I'd prefer my money placed in better conditions than art, which might even help me later on in my retirement.
I've been commissioning smaller artists, I've been subscribed to a few artists as well, I know about freelancing being a hell of a financial situation, because I've talked to artists as well and helped them out here and there.
