Hey everyone!
I’ve been kinda quiet on here (o w o sorry!) but things should start picking up again soon.
Wanted to drop a little update since some stuff’s been changing behind the scenes, aside from quitting a job I literally just started (even in this economy it was not worth it that how you KNOW it was bad lmao) I took a bit of a health dip but I'm happy to say my stats are in the green again! Or well...greenish- Either way good!
Sooo… yeah, I'm sure people have noticed my public commission queue is basically ancient at this point lol. It is pretty much abandoned but I have been working on commissions in the mean time. The list ah, well I don't like it ^^; and honestly even with that there I got 1001 questions about it after people looked at it. SO I’ve been trying out a new system privately and honestly? I’m pretty happy with it. I think it'll be a lot clearer so I don't have to answer a million questions, which btw I'm fine answering any and all questions but I kept getting the same ones so clearly I was not being well clear with the process here.
As I'm sure everyone knows at this point my health likes to randomly dip as my body randomly decides it's time to speedrun organ failure lmao so staying on top of things can be a bit of a mess when things go wrong. BUT I also happen to be that crazy person with like 3 planners and a whole micromanagement obsession, so I’m finally putting all that to good use. I like planners and stationary and it's an excuse I guess. I'm the kinda person who decorates my shopping list XD
Also if any of you read my twitter update (which is still up and pinned if you want to read it) I’m also taking fewer commissions at once now, so things should move faster. I’m trying batching too (all lineart one day, all flats another, etc.) which works great as long as people reply to check-ins. If you take two weeks to answer me, well you’ve just delayed your own piece by two weeks lol.
Don't worry though I always preplan buffer days so I don't expect people to get back to me the millisecond I post something. People have lives and I'm aware of that, I'm also aware people may need to send it to other people or think on things so really don't think about that too much but you may see me change the deadline date by a few days if I don't get a prompt reply. It's just be rejigging things so I have a steady workflow.
I am also working on a small website (prob just a CAARD tbh) with clear pricing and examples as I know I don't particularly have that easily available as I tend to just do sketch commissions atm. I'll make it nice and pretty and hopefully clear so you don't feel like you need to poke me to get the info as I know a few of you guys are on the shy side (I don't bite though!! poke me anytime for anything!) I was prob going to do it as these are my normal prices but if I'm calling for commission slots to be filled I'm probably doing a sale or something. Makes it simpler, also having a TOS that is easy to read but I know I need to update that as a few people have kinda taken the piss if I'm being honest ^^; Thankfully not here but elsewhere. I do sometimes forget to say that here and this list i not the only work or commissions I do lmao.
Basically TLDR:
☆ignore the current queue because I’m replacing it,
☆the new one will actually show proper art stages instead of just “working on,”
☆I’m adding due dates to make things clear and hopefully get things out in a more timely manner.
☆I'm updating my commission prices and making them clearer.

BUT I need to start doing things a bit differently- mainly for Discord.
There are so many bots and weird accounts adding me that I can’t just accept everything anymore. If you need to message me on Discord please poke me somewhere else first like FA notes, Twitter DMs or hell a comment would do. It's literally just so I know it’s a real person before I accept the request.
I check DMs on FA + Twitter daily, so I’ll see it pretty quick. I know it's annoying but I don't want the million viruses and weirdos blowing up my DM's anymore.
Sooo I’ve started studying for my CeMAP qualification, which is taking up a good chunk of my evenings. If you see me online but replying slow (especially later in the day GMT time), I’m probably reading that giant crusty ass textbook. Luckily I only need to deal with it for a few months or till I pass my exam but yeah I'm not ignoring you I'm probably trying not to fall asleep reading this book. Little rant but oh my god I've never read a more dry book in my life. It's so thick and heavy I swear you could beat someone to death with it, I'm probably going to get muscles just picking this monster up every day. Though as stated before you know my notes are aesthetic as fuck and covered in cute stationary lmao.
And in more fun news I finally started working again on a personal project I’ve been putting off for like… two years???? probably more honestly. I’m picking my visual novel / video game idea back up and giving it some love. It’s not really furry-themed so I probably won’t post it here, but if you like horror + fantasy stuff you might enjoy hearing about it once in a while. It’s super early days but I’ll probably mumble about it on Twitter now and then, it'll be nice to pick up my old artstyle. Like what Zev used to draw creepy/horror things?! Yep! Furry things is my "cute" artstyle XD. But yeah for this project I'm going for a more hmmm Vermis style to pick something kinda similar in tone. Sometimes people are shocked when they find out I'm actually a goth I guess bright pink cute Runa throws them off hahaha. Aaaand talking about that-
I’ve been getting really into drawing Runa again, and honestly I wanna draw more of all my characters, not just her. So I’m gonna be looking for more collabs and art trades soo. If you’re an artist who’d want to draw with my OCs or want to trade that would be cool! My main problem is I run out of poses and ideas fast lmao so I end up getting boring pictures if I don't have anyone else to interact with.
Feel free to suggest ideas for Runa or any of my other characters! I’m trying to give them all more love!
I’m also planning to post a few YCHs soon. I’m keeping the prices on the lower side since they’ll probably be interacting with my OCs or be on the simpler side of things. They should be fun though I was thinking about doing a few bondage ones to start with? .
As for raffles, I’d really love to bring them back. I might wait until after I finish studying, but we’ll see, if commissions slow down and I find myself with some free time, I might squeeze one in because I genuinely enjoy doing them.
