I'm really paranoid about all the game take downs that happened a few months ago (and that I'm sure are ongoing but just not under as much public attention at the moment). I see similar HTML games being posted to itch.io. Does anyone know if things are calming down over there, or if there's a different option? With my cursory research, it looks like nothing has definitively changed yet?
Otherwise I'm sure I'll keep up the YCHs, Christmas-themed for next month, of course! It'd just be nice to work on something a little different for a month or so. ;3

In regard to the whole Itch situation, I'm in the UK so I can only access the store pages of certain games via VPN. But once it's in my library I can access it.
I’d say make the game. Try pushing it to itch. Maybe steam. Market it from here and other platforms you’re on. If it gets taken down, look into other platforms. Maybe you can lock it behind a subscribestar for a one time pledge?
