Today (November 8, 2022) marks three years since Sonic Frontiers was released! Since it’s one of my favorite SEGA games of all time, I wanted to write something special to celebrate it.

Sonic Frontiers has grown on me so much ever since I first played it on my Nintendo Switch 2 back in October 2025. That month, my obsession with it skyrocketed — it even surpassed Sonic Colors Ultimate and Puyo Puyo Tetris as my absolute favorite SEGA title on the Switch! The characters are interesting and relatable, the soundtrack is amazing, and the fact that it connects to my lifelong love for both Sonic and SEGA makes it even more meaningful.

Sure, the game has its flaws, but I’ve got to hand it to SEGA — they truly delivered something bold, emotional, and influential in the open-world genre. I wholeheartedly applaud them for that.

Sonic Frontiers has genuinely changed my life. Even if my interests shift someday, I’ll always cherish the memories and the impact it’s had on me as a longtime SEGA fan.

Thank you, SEGA, for creating such a special experience — and for inspiring me to keep believing in what makes Sonic so iconic. 💙
