Hello everyone! It's finally time for a new journal.

After 20 excruciatingly long months, this week I finally moved into my new house!! The construction was a nightmare and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone ever LOL I'm so glad it's over. That doesn't mean the house is finished though, I still have a lot of work to do especially on my front and back yard. We took care of the most important parts of the house so that I could live here comfortably but some stuff's gonna have to wait, I just have to deal with a lot of dust for now. So far things have gone mostly well, the dogs are having a blast exploring the new place, I got most of my stuff unpacked already, I just haven't had much luck with internet providers yet, that'll have to wait until next week. I've been super busy packing, unpacking, setting things up, organizing, cleaning and all that, but I will be getting back to commissions as soon as I can! My queue is very short anyway, so there shouldn't be any big delays.

In other news, for the past couple weeks I've been doing some thinking regarding my name. Not username, I mean my actual name. Ever since I started my transition nearly 8 years ago I've been going by my chosen name online, offline, everywhere. That of course is great! I'm happy to be accepted and respected for who I am, by friends, family and strangers. My chosen name became my legal name shortly after and I even prefered to be called by it online rather than my fursona's name like most furries do. But that started to change some time ago. I think it started a few years ago when I made a new fursona (Killu), I tried for a while to impose that name on my online personality but it didn't really catch on. Later I made Lynk (my current icon) and the same thing happened. I even came up with a new username to separate my personal account from the vore stuff, and tried to have that as my new name again, but very few people ever called me Lynk. It never really bothered me much because I like my name but I do feel like it's time to make some definitive change. Except I decided to continue the trend of separating myself from my fursonas, so their names are not changing, and I'm obviously not gonna change my legal name again, instead I just want people to call me by a new name. Does that make sense? Maybe not LOL but in any case, from this point on my name is Kris. If you knew me by my legal name, I'd appreciate it if you could make an effort to not use that name anymore, but I'm not gonna be upset if you can't. My legal name is not a dead name, but I want it to be just my legal name. I'm not gonna change this username either since it's become my main "brand name" for art, but please don't shorten it to Lee or Leeo when refering to me anymore. Just call me Kris. I'm not gonna sign my art with my name anymore either, I'll use a small watermark with my username instead.

Anyway! Long and rambly journal as usual. I could be typing for another hour to explain why I chose this name but it's not important so I'm not gonna do it dfgdjf. I sincerely appreciate you for taking the time to read this far! I'm very excited about this new beginning in my life, moving to my own house has always been my biggest dream and it's crazy to think I was able to get this far with just furry art (and a shitton of help from my parents lol), so from the bottom of my heart, thank YOU for making my dream come true! I mean it! I'm extremely privileged to be where I am today and I really don't take it for granted.

TLDR: I've moved into my new house and my name is now Kris. Please don't call me by my legal name anymore.
