I've always had a lot of thoughts about fictional characters and Ive wanted to make art about it, but I would worry about it seeming dumb or "cringe" and whatever...
Really I should just draw what I want and not think about what people / the Internet think in general. Or I could draw it and just not post it.
I've pretty much never thought that other people posting that kind of art is bad, so why do I stop myself from doing it!
But also maybe I feel a little embarrassed about drawing myself in a situation.
Just a bit of a rant, I wish I didn't mentally block myself from making art for no particular reason.

PLEASE go ahead and post/make selfship art! I too used to feel the same way, but honestly, once you let go of the fear of looking "cringe", you're going to feel so much better about your selfship art, and about your art in general! Plus, you'll never know, maybe you'll amass a little fanbase behind your ship(s)! I know I have a little corner of people who love my selfships >W<
