Status Update – Please Read
I want to be fully transparent about my current situation, both with commissions and life in general. For months, I’ve been doing everything I can to secure a stable job—applying to countless positions, going through multiple interviews, and even relocating to a new area in hopes of better opportunities. One job is still in the air, but after a month of waiting with no updates, I’m left in limbo. Meanwhile, art has been my only real source of income, and I had no chance to finish my 2024 queue before being forced to take on more commissions just to stay afloat.
Unfortunately, circumstances beyond my control have left me overwhelmed. In January alone, I had to take on nearly $2k worth of commissions after being put in an impossible situation. I still have around 20 pieces from 2024 to complete, meaning I haven’t been able to start most of my newer commissions yet. Because of this, I will be creating a separate 2025 queue soon and will provide a better timeline once I’ve tackled a significant portion of my outstanding work.
To everyone I owe art to: You will 100% receive your art or a refund—that is a promise. However, I ask for patience and understanding as I work through everything at a pace that doesn’t completely destroy me. I’m doing my absolute best, but I also struggle with chronic hand pain that sometimes makes it physically impossible to draw for weeks at a time.
I completely understand that waiting for art can be frustrating, and I truly appreciate those who have been patient with me. As a way to make up for any delays, I’m more than happy to upgrade certain commissions to larger pieces if it helps compensate for the wait. For example, if you originally ordered an icon, I can turn it into a fullbody or something more detailed. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if this is something you’d be interested in—I just want to make sure everyone gets something worthwhile in the end.
I hate that things have piled up like this, and I hate that I’m even in this position. But I want to be upfront and let everyone know that I am working through my backlog and will make sure every order is completed or refunded. Thank you to those who have continued to support and understand me—I appreciate you more than words can express.
