Well, yes and no…
I'm in the process of revising that draft into a more coherent novel, The Turning, which should be published next year! As preparation for that, I've removed the earlier draft from Fur Affinity. I've waffled about this (and I kind of wish I'd saved all the comments, dammit), but I'd like to not have the free version be "competing" with the novel, at least for a while, and Fur Affinity (motto: "clinging desperately to the trailing edge of technology") does not offer something as useful as simply hiding stories. Deleting is the only option. Yes, I understand this might come across as a bit mercenary of me, and it is, and I'm sorry. But at the moment writing is my primary source of income, and given the way job hunting has gone for me in 2024, it may remain so for the indefinite future.
Eventually, The Turning will get republished in the new, improved form for free, too, I promise—although that might primarily be on my website rather than FA.
In the meantime, the serialization on my Patreon is still up, and will remain so.

That particular first chapter, though, didn't actually make it into the finished novel! So I should probably look at bringing it back. I will take this as a nudge. :)
