I'll confess that, not having requested anything personally, I lack skin in the game. So what I have to say should be taken with a grain of salt.

I would suggest using the old design for the requests you have currently, and then switching to the new one for later requests. Since back then, the old design was what was promised.

Because I made the newer design mid request queue I thought I’d still offer it as an option to the people locked in on the off chance they felt “left out”. While I haven’t gotten responses back on here I have gotten responses from pretty much all the DA ones I still gotta do. All but one prefer the old (and one either) a which is fine, I just want to make the request the most fun I can for them as I know some might be waiting longer than others.

I just saw this I don't know how I missed it! I don't mind either or, if you'd like to do more with the new design I have no problems with it being with them!!!

Is its okay if I might stick with the old Violet design for yours whenever I get around to it since most people didn't take the new design well?

Ahhh, oki, but I will say again you really should do whichever you want, it is your sona after all, your opinion on the new design is the most important
