May Status Update

Hello, I figured I'd go ahead and update this for my monthly status. Just updating everyone on the general status of everything and how everything is going.
Last week, I worked on getting a huge batch of icons completely sketched out and succeeded in doing so in less than a week, which put me way ahead of my schedule. I will continue working on those and getting line art for them done over the next two weeks and getting them all colored. Once every single one of them is in the flat color stage, I'm going to move on and sketch out some larger commissions, such as full-body reference images as well as NSFW illustrations.
I am hoping to have at least seven commissions done a week going forward, but I am aiming to do more.
My hand has been okay since I started the arthritis pain medicine. It does have its days where it's a little weaker, but I haven't felt the need to take a long break. I'm hoping to get at least half of my commissions done before July.

In July, I will focus on commissions, but I will be doing Art Fight, only doing sketchy warm-up headshots that I do before any of the commissions, as something to give me some artistic freedom to work on, you know? I will not be super active in Art Fight as I will prioritize my commissions. I'll be honest. I need to pick myself up and get artwork of my characters, but I can't afford to get art of my characters currently, and it is a way that I can help flip that. I'm just in a rut and feeling down.

Feel free to fill out that form, and I will be choosing who I draw from that form, mostly for my sake, as I really don't want to spend a lot of time digging through the characters on the site to find ones I would like to draw!

Due to an electrical error, I lost one of my favorite snakes in the last couple of months, and it's really been taking a toll on my mental health, especially since I just haven't a job and can't upgrade my animals or immediately get them what they need. It's incredibly frustrating. Now, I'm backed up with commissions that I can't regularly take on because of my physical pain.
The whole situation is frustrating. I'm just glad that everyone seems to be a little bit understanding. I don't know what I would do if everyone simultaneously asked for a refund. There would be no way I could get that money unless I took more commissions, which would be counterproductive.
Anyway, the schedule will remain the same. I will draw Monday through Wednesday, with Thursday either being for commissions or a day off. Considering my workload, I will take the couple of days prior off and the rest of the week off. This schedule has been working out well and gives me time to do personal artwork when I'm not working and make good progress.
Thank you all for your understanding. I will continue to make progress as I have been.

It has been a ton of fun watching you chug through your work! I love seeing all the effort you are going through to show all of your commissioners what you are doing. I have also been blown away by the quality of your pieces! Awesome job!
