Hey so its been a while...a lot has been going on so sorry for the lack of posting
I have been battling with major health issues the past 6+ months, I recently (At the start of this year) got diagnosed with a brain tumor, I've been basically bedridden, and I've been almost completely unable to draw. Only on a very rare occasion do I have the energy for it...as a result my commissions have been closed and will continue to be until this is all figured out.
My doctors are running loads of tests and I should hear back this month on weather or not the tumor is operable or not, if it is operable then I will be getting brain surgery to remove it, they will then biopsy it to see if its cancerous or benign. Until then I am kind of playing the waiting game...
I am hoping for the best with all this but I am very unsure how things will go from here....depending how things go I could be anywhere from completely fine with a full recovery, to being disabled in a wheelchair, to having cancer and/or the worse case scenario.....its all very up in the air right now and I'm not going to lie and say I am not scared of what will happen.....
I am trying my best to focus on things one day at a time, one test at a time, etc. But its still hard given whats going on...
On a more positive side though my doctors said if I end up having surgery and I recover well, I will most likely only need a wheelchair for a few months while I recover. They also said I will have to have speech and physical therapy but given alternatives I will take what I can get.
So yeah that's a basic summary of whats been going on, been dealing with some other things but they are very minor in comparison.
But anyways, sorry for not keeping everyone posted, its been very hard to keep up with things lately..
I have my surgery date scheduled for next week, they are going to try and remove as much of the tumor as safely possible. Hopefully it goes well..
