Question; What would Seraphine think of an Avali if she met one?

Well, for starters she's from a high fantasy magitech setting and they're from a relatively hard sci-fi, so there's a bit of incompatibility there

But, putting that aside they probably don't even make the top 3 for 'weirdest things she's seen'. She once played arbiter for a tribe of Bulliwug that another group was trying to muscle them off their ancestral land; so, she'd probably also approach them as an intelligent people and treat them with respect even if they do look alien.

She has some magic that can deal with the language barrier; though maybe the Avali did their research first and already programmed a translator with trade common, or her regional dialect (Which sounds suspiciously like French... her full name is 'Seraphine Delacroix' it's not subtle what fantasy Europe analogue she's from :p)


Mostly I think she'd be fascinated at the confirmation that there are other worlds out there, and the Avali would have their minds blown and be furiously trying to figure out how magic is a thing and they totally missed it up until now and want to know more. :p
