Greetings all!
I intend on going on break again once I've finished my remaining orders on my queue, but instead of just resting I intend on going by a different name and brand that better reflects me.
I honestly started feeling detached by the name 'BitterCherry' for sometime, doesn't necessarily reflect who I am as a person now compared to before so I believe it's time to let go of this name for a new one. I can't give an exact timeframe on how long the rebranding will take, but you'll be informed soon as I have everything prepped up first.
"Why not just rebrand now?"
Well, since I still have orders to work on, I don't want my clients being caught off guard and confused as to why 'BitterCherry' isn't showing up on their contact list. I also feel it'd be a hassle pushing it now for us both and not having to focus on both commissions & rebranding will make things less stressful.
"What's gonna happen to your account(s)?"
Any and all current accounts will simply have their names changed if their corresponding site allows it. (Twitter, Insta, Tumblr, etc.) Sites that don't (email, FA, Reddit, etc.) will simply be archived and replaced with updated accounts with the intended screenname I wish to go by. Said screenname will be revealed when I'm ready with preparations.
"Is any aspects of your current brand applying to your rebrand or will they be behind?"
If they can still fit into the aesthetic, yes. If not, I'll find new features to incorporate into my rebrand. I'm currently creating a new mascot + watermark of that mascot. As much as Peppy is sentimental to me, he's too associated with the BitterCherry name so likely will archived unless I can bring him in as a cameo or even just nostalgia. I have no intentions of rehoming Peppy currently.
I think that's it for now, I'm rather excited about it once I have more freetime and I look forward to starting a new era with you all in it. If there's any questions I've missed feel free to voice them below.
