Are there any relatively obscure animes you could reccomend?

General
My favorite and relatively obscure animes are Tekkon Kinkreet, The Cat Returns, and Arashi No Yori ni (One Stormy Night).
I also like Akira, Ghost in the Shell I & II, Wolf's Rain, everything Miyazaki, Cowboy Bebop, Metropolis, Steamboy, etc.
Any other type of animation would also be appreciated.
But please, not too much of this:

1st episode is a bit slow but after that its great.
Its rather graphic too, just a warning. A reporter gets caught up in a huge secret scandal and obtains the power to destroy whatever he snaps a photograph of.
R.O.D (read or die)
Fantastic animation. Starts to lose its focus for a bit. But real cool overall. Theres a movie and tv series. Both are centered around people known as paper masters who have an ability to manipulate paper for super heroic powers.
Kino's Journey
A different and innovative story per just about every episode. Its a mellow series, so its great if you want to relax. A *girl ventures from town to town with her talking motorcycle. Usually some trouble occurs with each village she reaches, but the young lass can always handle herself. (She's a good shooter)
