The last I heard, James wasn't doing so well financially. It may have come down to an inability to move the story ahead, you know when your muse goes to Cosumel without you, issues with funds and the domain coming up for renewal. These are rather $h!tty times we're living in. I'm sure it was a hard choice for him.

It also put a wrench in the works for one of my stories, since Zig and Sabrina were going to have minor roles in it. Now that I can't get in touch with James, I'm not going to be that d00d and use Zig without permission. Sabrina, not an issue there but certainly the tiger-striped skunk is an issue.
