So yesterday was my surgery day, had to get up early, no eating or drinking, packed my stuff and went to hospital. I was met at entrance by the lady who spoke my language, she took some covid test. Then been waiting for a nurse to take me to preparation room, where I would have to change clothes and get diapers on.
Then I was provided to bed, where nurses installed a needle into my hand and started to fill me with something. Then just to be on safe side, they gave me a spray which asthmatics use. After an hour they took me to another room to change the bed and be prepared for the surgery, after which they took me to surgery room, where it was quite cold. Nurses started to fill in the liquid which made me feel very dizzy and then sleepy, in 2 mins I just went to sleep.

So my surgery started at 8am and I woke up at 2pm, I felt really tired and dizzy, my hands went numb, asked for my phone to type to my closest ones that I am ok. Fingers felt baloony, it was hard to type, then decided just to call parents, I was happy I have been able to talk.
In few minutes doctor visited me, told me that my surgery took longer than planned, told some nasty details and in the moment I started to vomit. Vomited 3 times, it was also hard to swallow, as they have been cutting my throat, still have a drain from it. So I feinted and went to sleep till 6pm.

Again, woke up tired and they took me to my own room, offered me cold yogurt and cold water to cool the pain in my throat. 3 nurses have been watching me during the day and night, I had an urge to talk, as if I keep silent for long my voice lowers down and it gets painful to talk again. Though not everyone speaks English here, but still had some decent conversation. Whole night the machine, which was calculating my blood pressure and heart beating was beeping and compressing my arm every 30 mins, so was hard to sleep, slept about for 5 hours.

Today feel better, still dizzy to stand, still in diapers, had some nice breakfast: hot tea, bread with nuttela, strawberry jam, banana and yogurt. Lot of other therapists and nurses comes in and out to give questions and feed me pills...
