Yeah, just like the title says. As what it can be read on their site, given the complaints of many videogame journalists, Hidetaka Miyazaki has announced they've decided to include Easy Mode in all of their games.

Easy Mode features include:
-Reduced the realistic damage dealt by enemies.
-Enemies don't longer respawn by resting at restpoints.
-Players get 999 Defense in all their armor stats since the beginning.
-All enemies have 1 Health Point. All bosses have 2 Health Points.
-Added a restpoint right before each boss.
-Added cutscenes after reaching every area or defeating every boss, that explain their lore.
-Double boss fights are now separated in stages, meaning it's now a 1v1.
-Summoned NPCs and players can't die.
-Aggroed NPCs have 1 HP and deal 0 Damage with their attacks.
-Removed Invasions.
-Players don't need to "Git gud" anymore.

I'm personally happy with these changes, they will allow the Souls games reach any public and will still not remove the social status given to those that beated one through their effort and patience.
