So I finally got a digital drawing tablet (iPad) after a 5 year hiatus from digital art and computers in general. It’s amazing how much the online art community has evolved over that short time, and I’m not a spry young adult anymore with limitless time to browse the internet. It’s taken me a while to figure out what style of art I’d like to achieve and how to practice that efficiently and relatively quickly. With a 2 year old and another on the way efficiency is important.
While I’d love to revisit watercolors and gouache, for now I’m limited to the simple and portable equipment of the iPad and pen.
