I've been hiding the fact that I'm a furry/furry fan from my friends. The reason for the secrecy was they had a bad run in with a "furry" from before, and that person presented them with a few things that a normal human with a straight mind shouldn't be presented with. So they had a bad mindset about furries.

So for about a year I've kept it a secret, but I finally decided to it was time to tell my friends, as a test to see who my real friends.

I got them all together one night and just told them that I was a furry, a massive fan of furries. What surprised the hell out of me, they were all very accepting of that fact that I am a furry. I was overjoyed at this.

Now one of my friends even acts like I'm my fursona, and even cracks jokes about it, all in good fun, though I don't have any comebacks for them, not quite used the furry jokes yet. This was a good one. I said "What I can't hear you." Then my friend said, "It's all that fur in your ears!" Just about everyone was laughing, including myself.
