SUMMARIZED TOS - PLS READ!💕 Hi there, future client! This is a summarized version of my TOS, so read carefully! :)

Claiming that you didn't "know" the Terms of Service aren't an excuse to create a scene. The first thing a future client needs to do is learning about the artist's art process and rules. That way, we can keep mutual respect.

It comes from my real life name - Hemille. Just a french way to write 'Emily'... (thanks to my mother... xD)
I'm a digital artist with +18 years of experience in making art and +12 years of exp. in selling art!
I am a kind and silly person, and I'll always greet my clients and friends with a good humor. :) For a long time, I tried to act more "serious and dull" to look "more professional" but that's just not who I am. I've come to terms with being myself not defining how "pro" or "veteran artist" I am. So we're here now! :3 Although, this doesn't mean that you can treat me with disrespect and rudeness. Rude clients can - and will! - have their commission cancelled without refunds and be blacklisted. (It's rare, but have happened a few times in the past :/).
Please keep in mind that I don't offer REFUNDS.
On the worst case scenarios - rudeness, extreme nitpicky clients, etc -, artwork will be delivered the way it looks like at the given moment of cancellation, probably with a tiny bit of extra work on it as well. Again, no refunds.
# Don't be afraid to ask for changes on sketch/initial stage or if really needed later on - with additional 10-15$ fee -, for the artwork to match your oc design correctly! This is NOT considered being nitpicky or rude ;) If the design looks off or too different, please feel free to speak up and let's discuss about it! If it's my own mistake on the oc design, I'll fix it for free. 💕
💕 You can always choose 50%/50% payment (50% upfront, 50% on the delivery of the artwork - although on delivery day, with the finished artwork in my hands, I'll need you to send the rest to send you the final files, okay?). Just inform me you want the 50%/50% payment type!
This helps protecting both artist and client. :)

💕 Even tho I have a specific way to work, it works and is adjusted to my reality as an audhd university student (I'm a total nerd, now going for my second degree..), soon-to-be wifey, dog mom and only-child (no siblings) that needs to also help take care of my parents now. My mother is also fighting a cancer and I often need to be there for her, more than ever.
Besides that, it works. It's been like that for ages, through multiple happy clients in the past. I paint the artworks a little bit per day and they all progress together, and I provide 15% extra attention to older commissions on the queue (meaning that the older comms will progress faster once they enter finishing stages).
💕 In matters of transparency, my deadlines are usually from 1-3 months, can be a little more too (3-4), and can vary a little bit depending on complexity of the piece, alternative versions, any needed adjustments/changes on the art, complexity of the character design, complex angles/poses, tier of extra realism (more realistic paintings), fullbody artworks, more than one character on the piece, etc. All of this can add extra time to the delivery.
But don't worry, we will be in touch through the whole process so you're up to date! :}
Life/health situations can also happen, but I will inform it to you via notes/journals/Trello. So stay tune on these 3 places! Please, feel free to send notes to ask about it too.
Please, keep this in mind.
💕 Rush orders are available, to rush the delivery of your piece and get it done before than all the other artworks on the list and future artworks - remember, they all progress together in my art process! -, it'll add a 50% extra fee of the final artwork price and it'll get 95% of top priority on the queue list!
(For example: on every day of the week, I'm painting a little bit on everybody's artwork on the queue, a little per day, so they progress together. With a Rush Order, 4 out of 5 days of the week will go for YOUR artwork SOLO, so it'll be finished way faster than the others.)
💕Pls note that I'm closed on weekends + Brazilian Holidays, plus having a 15-day vacation in [mid-July to early mid-August] and [mid-December to early mid-January] ! So plan your artwork accordingly! :D Artworks started before this date will enter on hiatus on vacations time and weekends, and I'll go back to working on them after I'm back from the vacations! :3

💕 In other words: I won't be painting on my vacations, because I'm a human being, so progress an delivery time will be STOPPED completely, and back again on the first day of work after vacations. Thanks for understanding! :)
💕If you're a bit impatient, you can always get an YCH (way quicker turnaround times!), adopt, or lower tier artworks like: linearts, colored sketches, flat colors, and focus on smaller body settings such as: portraits/busts or half-body. The delivery times for these are around 1-2 months only, as less hours are needed to finish painting the piece ! :)
💕(Quick note: Please take a look at my Journals tab on: MY MAIN FA PROFILE > UPPER JOURNALS TAB. The journal displayed on my first page is fixed and won't change. All the news and infos will stay on official Journals Tab.)
💕Trust me, it's better to have an artist be straightforward and inform the real time to complete an art than having one saying it will be delivered in 20 days and then delivering it months later. I'll be real with you, I've once been this artist, at the beginning of my career. We want to promise the whole world to our clients, just to make them happy. It's a common mistake, but now, being older and wiser (ohohoho *Santa Klaus laugh*), I know this isn't the best way to go.
Clients actually need ultra transparency on the process, and I understand the anxiety of seeing a beautiful art piece of a special oc finished - I've also bought artworks from different artists myself, in the recent past, and waited a few months for delivery too x3 I know the feeling.
I also usually need around extra 1-2 weeks to set up the final touches and delivery of the final versions to you.
Please, keep that in mind.
💕Which is why I highly encourage you to send notes/dms/e-mails to me if you need to get in touch, I promise I won't bite x3~
💕 This is a process, a journey, and we will go through it together. At the end, you'll be rewarded with an amazing artwork that was not rushed, was not copied and pasted by a cold-a$$ robot, but on the other hand it was made, CARVED with both of our hands - the artist's and the client's! Isn't it special? 🥹💕
ABOUT UPDATES:
💕 I usually send around 2-3 image screenshot updates, incluing the first sketch. I'll also send you written updates, informing you what I'm working on the piece at that given moment. I usually send a written update every 10-14 days.
I'll show you the first sketch for approval, and any modifications/changes are free on this stage. After that, I'll only fix my own mistakes on the piece and extra bigger changes can add a +10-15$ fee to fix.
Please, also keep that in mind.

It is a mid-tier artwork. For those that want a simpler-colored artwork without extras, but still keeping the art quality high.
We can add a soft touch of shadows and lighting spots for extra +8-12$.

LineartThis art is composed by only lines, no colors, no details, no shading.
It's a lineart artwork! But the lines are more clearer/CLEAN/PRECISE that the sketch option.
It's possible to add soft touches of color here and there (+extra fee 5-10$).
But it's quicker to draw.

It will have more sketch-like lines, rough strokes, simpler/messier lineart, tiny messy spots, no coloring. (But of course, still beautiful!)
It can also have a tiny bit of monochromatic color on some details like on this example. (Add a soft touch of monochromatic color OR shadows and lighting spots for extra +5-10$.)
Very SIMPLE/QUICKER artwork.
NSFW adds a small fee.
