Writing Commissions

Stories are the primary item, but I can be persuaded to open the idea to other formats. Backstories, descriptions etc.

Minimum of 3000 words. The pricing is set per 1000 words, rounded down with each 1000 mark costing £30 GBP.

Additional fees can be called into question but you will be informed before committing. Those fees typically fall under "explicit fees" for most overt details, starting at £10 but growing with more details needed. There are also "complexity fees" for situations I truly struggle with or extensive edits that were only detailed after the first draft.

These pieces are intended to need little to no content editing. Which is to say, done quickly, fast turnaround and proof read for grammar, spelling and sense only.

Costing £45 GBP, they typically start right away with the action, focusing on the scene with little need for build up. The piece may end up as short as 1000 words but never under that, or rise as high as 2000 words, though only going beyond that at my own discretion.

Typically these end up at 1500 words.

Bear in mind that explicit fees are typically +£10, and complexity if big edits are demanded can raise the price higher still, though you will be informed before committing to it.
