The text says it all, really.
I'm really lonely.
Wet footprints lead out from the snow,
And to the dew and gentle grass,
The sun's returned but in my mind,
The rain will never end.
The numbness spreads throughout my toes,
I know I've run for long enough,
Yet echoes of our heartbeats
Leave me empty, leave me cold.
Where did we go wrong?
Where did I go all wrong?
These plains of concrete scratch my feet,
How easy it would be to stop,
And lay down in the middle of the road,
And just give up.
You rode the metal horse of love,
Of romance, confidence, fervour,
And then with Amor's arrows
Shot me clean, left me to rot.
Where did we go wrong?
Where did I go all wrong?
oOo
